The detail

The Transit is the most organised bag in the range. The harness stows behind a zipped panel so it can be checked or handed to a gate agent without straps catching, and there are grab handles on three sides.

The laptop compartment opens flat for security screening. Inside there is a suit-carry panel, two zipped mesh compartments, a separate shoe or laundry section at the base, and enough structure that the bag holds its shape half empty.

The trade-off

All of that weighs 2.35 kg, which is the heaviest pack we make. On a carrier with a 7 kg cabin allowance, a third of it is gone before you pack. If weight is the binding constraint, the Wayfare 30L is the honest alternative.
